3.5 liter engine

Still looking for a 3.5 from an 02-03 max for a swap, found one for $995. It's from an 03 max with 74000 miles on it, is this a good buy? any advice from others?

Yea, that seems kind of high for the miles. I'd keep searching. The only problem with buying one of these engines used is you might end up with an oil burner like mine. I wish I could tell you how to check for that before buying it, but....

Still not positive, I'm still doing research of what setup would be the best for the money I'd have to spend

the biggest problem is that independent people rarely want to ship items like that.
