How to clean the throttle body / how to replace the front brakes web site

www.motorvate.ca is really for a 4th gen Max, but I am sure that the process of cleaning the throttle body, replacing the front wheel bearings, and replacing the front brakes are all the same in process.

"How to clean your throttle body" has just been added with step by step pictures.

Come and have a look: www.motorvate.ca and click on "Engine:
then "Throttle Body Prep" to see how to get to your throttle body.
Or "Throttle Body Clean" to see how to clean it.

Some other new pages from the last week are:
-Maxima Brake Bible
-How to Replace your front wheel bearings using $15 in "tools"

As well at the good old pages:
-Inside your Nissan oil filter
-Inside your Nissan gas filter
-My Burn out video, Maximum Maxima Melt.

Come by and have a look, everything is free, with no advertising.

My car has 217,000 KM on it, so the oil and dirt may build up faster around the throttle body. Cleaning it every 30,000 to 40,000 KM works well for me.

Is your idle ever unstable? (jumps up and down) If so, you may want to try it.

Good Luck.

Cool site, one suggestion, change that yellow to another color. My eyes are still trying to readjust as I type this.

Hmmmm... Maybe your monitor brightness is too high?

Does anyone else think that the yellow at www.motorvate.ca is too bright?
