Im referring to the metal line itself-not the rubber hose OR the oil cooler itself at the seat of the oil filter. Just needed a confirmation before taking next steps.
ill get a pick at lunch here and try to put it up.

The coolant line running forward is returning coolant to the pump inlet and the tube at the rear of the cooler is the coolant supply from the block.

my 02 has about 122,xxx on it-its odd tho-some bolts, lines etc are oddly corroded and others are not and this car came from NC so its just wierd. Carfax was clean when i bought it so who knows.

But this coolant return line is rusting out bad (not leaking yet*knock on wood*).
Im thinking i could probably tackle this one myself.

I just noticed last weekend that mine is rusting really badly as well, along with my lower oil pan which is actually leaking......

My real reason for this post though is why the hell do you have a fram oil filter on there??!?!?!!?!?!!!!!!!!!! I think I would worry about replacing that first!
