Umnitza angel eye upgrade, and clear spoiler light

So I had the Umnitza thinline angel eyes. Of course I've been plagued with nothing but problems. Broken rings, rings that become discolored, and ones that just stop working. Umnitza now has the predator orion line which is LED based instead of CFL based. For while though, the kit for the maxima include 4 rings that were all the same size. They now finally have the kit with 2 larger rings, and 2 smaller rings. One thing I noticed is they are significantly thicker...which made the install bit more difficult. Also it was clear that the kit is put together from pieces from other kits. So in order to connect everything, a three of the rings have to have the power cables extended so you can hook everything up. I'm happy with the results (probably because they actually work). The LED is much brighter compared to the CFL thinlines.

Also I had to replace my spoiler light as the current light had 8-12 leds that quit working. It turns out my spoiler is aftermarket, so the one I got was a direct replacement. The only down size is this LED seems dimmer. I'm not sure if it's the wiring or light itself.

It will with modification to the light. I know the stock spoiler light has 3 tabs on it, and the harness comes out from the driver side of the spoiler opposed to the center.

Write up for the clear brake light

http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...installed.html

Theres the link to the full install, it also has a link to the electrodyne website and an upgrade suggestion by another member on how to improve the install by modding the new light with old tabs.

Im definately going to get around to doing the clear brake eventually

The new Orion v2 are now finally available in the correct sizing for the rings.
So the good news is that you have the correct sizing for the high and low beam.
