5th Gen Rear Valence Install
5th Gen Rear Valence Install
Ah yes, my very first body kit mod in all my 10 years of owning Maximas.
I plan to pick up the painted rear Stillen valence from the shop later, and wondered for the guys that installed, were you able to successfully use the pre-existing screw holes for the rear splashguards? I was just looking at the bumper and surrounding area this morning.
Any other rear install tips or complications to watch out for, feel free to share with me. Thanks!

The rear splashguards will have to be modified in order to fit. Check this thread: http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...uards-off.html

i know its not the answer your looking for... but how much did the shop charge you for paint
,.... oh and you should prob use rivets.. and 3M tape... if you run a search on stillen lip installs you can find a PDF guide made by stillen for the nissan versa and the 350 z,... why they didnt make one for the max who knows. . . .

Thanks gents. Yeah, the mud flaps had to go, and I just used some stainless steel self-tapping screws that should suffice.
I had some problems getting the rear valence to sit flush in the wheel well before I drilled, but in the end, it worked out. Yes, I used some double-sided tape too. It doesn't fit as cleanly as the front one, but a few other rear valence owners have told me the same thing.
My body shop charged me $150 CAD in cash all in for KY0 for the rear valence. They did a great job.
