I bought mine used with 39k miles in early 06 it now has 86k and I've only replaced the valve cover due to the 03 allowing oil into the rear sparkplug down tubes. Very dependable car, but I now only occasionally drive it hard, (getting older) although I still like to see 90+ mph every once in a while.

I purchased an auto 02 with 108k today fully loaded and clean for $5500. Runs and shifts great but it threw a ses while driving home, auto zone pulled a p0037 and p0138 faulty 02 sensor. If that gets rid of the ses then I guess i got a pretty good deal.

The Car business is pretty bad. People are giving cars away.

thats a hell of a deal. Does it have that start up clatter in the morning or after it sat for a while? If so they may have thought the engine was going out.

sorry but I don't believe you got it for that cheap unless somethings wrong with it, but if everything is clean then great buy man and welcome...... for the 6spd at the dealer with that many miles it will be hard to find with that milege but price would be over 7500 in my opinion

Stop it, you guys are depressing me! Now I'm starting to seriously doubt whether I want to put any money into my 02 with 85k.

Maybe I should take that money and put it into my 01 pickup. It's a diesel and worth $10-15k.

Ahhhh, screw it. I'm not planning on getting rid of either one anytime soon.......and it's only money!

2002 Infiniti I35- $6100. 96k miles. More features than any of your maximas. (besides 6spd)

Paying $8000 for a maxima is like paying $30,000 for a Honda Accord when an Acura TL goes for $26000

I have seen some 04/05 maximas running $9995 to 11995 with 60 to 70k miles on them (granted they have the trans issues) so I would consider that before paying $8k for a 02/03 model.
