what order would you fix this...

I got 84k on a 2002 6sp. This is a newb question but I'm a newb so go easy on me.
1) car makes clicking noise like timing chain, but then smells like rotten eggs under load...I say injectors? being checked in a couple weeks

2) some squeeks but not to to often....front struts

3) clutch grinds more and squeeks when pedal is push or released...clutch is going soon . Give it 12 months I hope.

4) Rust in wheel well...price to fix???

5) Front bumper in hit/run...if you saw my other thread you know.

6) broken speaker...priority number 1!!! ..not really

anyone think I should change the order of this? p.s. I just got back from test driving an 05 maxima 6sp. That convinced me to keep mine....they offered me $4500 for mine.

oops i forgot to add I have codes 1147 and 1572

just the kind of answer i wanted. thank you. You sure the rust in the wheel well won't spread to fast? 1,3,2 will take a long time to save up for

1, 3, 6, 2, 4/5

1 then 3 for safety and to head off a bigger mechanical problem now rather than later.

6 so you can be happy with tunes while saving for the larger expenses that can wait.

2 (suspension), unless you blow a strut before you're ready.

4 and 5 are body work... same time.

Buying a car and selling a car are two completely different transactions. If you fall for the dealership mindset that they're connected, you will lose.

Do 6 first. Crank up the tunes and drown out the little noises

I'm going to have my mechanic check my coils, replace the necessary ones and then save up money for the rest.

Turning the music up worked great til the smell got really bad. Then I said "why didn't I fix this earlier!"

My mechanic won't fix the p1572 so dealer I guess...

...so that you'll then have to do 6,6,6,6,1,2,etc...

Changing the coils is a very easy procedure. I bet you could change them all yourself for the cost of paying a mechanic to check out yours and replace one or two. Besides, if you haven't changed your coils yet any that are testing good now may soon go bad. Those puppies are a common problem. I hope that the ones they are selling these days are free from defects.

I swapped out all six coils two years ago in my 00 and haven't had any problems since.
