I have a 5.5 Gen max and Im changing my struts this weekend.
I wanted to know if the strut mounts are'nt broken should I replace them? Do the mounts wear like a bushing? I would believe that if the mount is intact that is would preform as a new mount.
Does new mounts work better that old but intact mounts?

 

They are not that expensive, personally I would replace them as well as all "wear" items.

 

Agree, I would also include dustboots in the replacement process.
