Ground control coilver any good?

wassup everyone! Well today is a slow day at work so i decided to look for eibach & H&R springs for my car and i found this.I don't know if they are any good or anything, just looking for some input on this. Im not planning to upgrade my susp till winter over so in the meantime im doing other upgrades. They look pretty good they have eibach springs so i though might be good for the money. Just looking for a mild drop no more than 1.5 inches around, good ride i hate bouncy rides. So let me know what you guys think of this? thanks!

They are good performance coilover sleeves but are not "true" coilovers. These need to be installed with a strut of your selection, ie. Illuminas, AGXs, Koni, etc. From a performance standpoint, they would be best paired with Koni struts, but you'll need to figure out if all that work and money is worth it to you because it'll involve quite a bit of labor building everything and tweaking them to get things where you want them to be. You might be better off buying some full coilovers or a spring/strut combo and calling it a day.

Also, that isn't a good price for GCs, I used to see them available for between $300 to $350.

i knew a guy that had some on his eclipse...worst ride ever! he hated them. took them off, sold them for more than he paid and bought full coilovers

results might be different with a maxima

yeah i def don't want a bad ride because i won't drive the car till i would get another set lol. But i found these and if i got good input on these then i would get these but if not i would just get eibach/ H&R with Illuminas struts. Because I am really clueless to when it comes to suspension and stuff like that lol.

like puppet said, not a real coilover, and they dont even list spring rates. if you want real coilovers, its going to cost you $1000+

stick with spring/struts...you'll be happy both handling wise and dollar wise

Edit... Curious if there are any other Coilover Sleeves for the 5th Gen.

Yeah I can imagine the ride is horrid. My buddy had them in a slammed civic and it wasnt too nice.

I took a quick search on ebay and google and havent found anything for the maxima.

Looks like either stock, cut springs, lowering springs, ground control coilover sleeves, or coilovers

bad idea, unless you already have aftermarket struts. the money put into the ground control and struts would equal a decent 4 of coilovers. or some used ones.
