did you check your fuses?

My initial guess would be you lost connection with your ground but it could be a handful of things

If zero power, then you must have damaged the battery cables while installing your CAI.

ok the battery cables were not cut or dameged in the install. and the maf is not broken.i did that to my 95 and had to replace the damn thing. it is not a running problem it has to be some security thing. the car started up fine and everything right when the install was complete. the car has power but does not show any dash lights when keys r turned and windows will not roll up but if holding the doors locked with keys windows will roll up.

do you get power to your accessories? (lights, radio etc)

I would start by removing the cables from your battery cleaning the terminals and putting them back on. I had a similar loss of power and it happened to be the connection at my negative terminal. The cable was attached but no connection was being made

Have you checked any fuses? sounds like you are getting power to the fuse box in the engine compartment but not to the one in the cabin. I am guessing there is a big fuse in your engine compartment that is blown.

Same thing happened to mine, Did you disconnext your terminals when putting the intake on? Even if you didn't. My terminal for my battery was BARELY on. It looked on but was loose. I received power to my gauges but my car wouldn't start. Tighten up both terminals. SHouldn't be any play in them.
Hopefully that's it. I don't see why anything else should have went bad, it's just an intake swap..gl

I don't remember which items are controlled by the big fuse that sits right next to the negative battery terminal, but you might want to check that one too.

have checked all fuses and still nothing. all my accesories are dead but my lights will turn on manualy but not by the auto setting. could this be a ignition problem. also with the loose battery terminals thing the lights would not turn on. right
