Cleaned Throttle Body... CEL is now on

So I cleaned my throttle body and got sidetracked midway through the project. Long story short, I started the car and the intake wasn't re attached to the throttle body and the CEL light went on. Anyway, I disconnected the battery again to see if it would reset the CEL light and I had no luck. Any other way to reset that?

Thanks

Go to autozone and have it scanned, check the code. What year? Hope you didn't fry your ECM while you were working on it. Happened to me back in April.

Probably just a code from the MAF since the intake wasn't hooked up. Like the previous poster said. have the code read and cleared.

Messing with the throttle body on a 3.5 car can be bad news. Hopefully you didn't mess it up. If it's running OK it's most likely a code saying the MAF wasn't reading correctly since the intake wasn't hooked up. If that's the case it will clear itself in a few days.

If it's running crappily it may be time for a trip to the dealer.

You hit the nail on the head. MAF reading caused CEL light. Anyway, I reset using the pedel pump method and she is now good to go.
