remote wire

I have installed my sub (fosgate 12") and amp (JBL600.1). Right now I have the amp splice into a RED Wire (going into the Bose sub) in the trunk which I was told is the remote wire, this wire keeps my amp ON at all times even when vehicle is off. Any suggestions, Thanks

i used a green wire with white stripes for my remote. if you look before the wires go into the harness, you should find the remote easily.

this is if you have the bose system, and from your first post i assumed you had it.

well if you do, go to the wires that go to the bose sub in the trunk. right before the wires go into the green plug, you should be able to spot this green wire with white stripes. that is the remote. let me know if you need any more detail. i can take pics for you.
