Want to keep the muffler section OEM (e.g. Walker Quiet flow (cheapest OEM) or even OEM (more expensive) ). Don't want any increase in noise (46 yrs old )

Based on what I know, here are the B-Bipe options I have:

* Cattman (my 1st choice, but out of stock till JAN 2010)
* Warpspeed - don't seem to sell mid-pipes anymore?
* Walker Mid-pipe (#56039)

Are there any other options out there for mid-pipes? Cat-backs tend to be noiser (had Apexi, and others in previous cars).

Find a muffler shop in your area that does mandrel pipe bending. Prices should be a little less than aftermarket.

I'm with you on loud cars. I had Thrush header mufflers on my old Chevelle, that lasted a week before I was ready to stab myself in the ears to stop the noise-and I was 18 at the time.

The first swap I did was with Budget Exhaust, I had them swap the OEM B pipe to get rid of the squash section in it and replaced the resonator with a WRBP performance resonator and then the stock axle back, I wanted more tone so I had the resonator removed (currently up for sale) and replaced the axle back with a vibrant performance muffle (and yes it is quit a bit louder.)

The first setup of swapping out the B pipe and resonator along with the stock axle back was very quiet and did improve the air flow by getting rid of the squash section.
