getting desperate. car stalls at red lights
My 2000 max has over 200k on it. I was having a ton of black smoke from the exhaust at highway speeds got limp mode eventually took it in scanner read maf, and i got my MAF replaced.
Before all that My car would stall at red lights and continues to do so.
IT SEEMS TO ONLY BE HAPPENING WHEN THE CAR IS HOT...
since i got my maf changed the black smoke is gone and all service lights are gone. It has been about 80 miles since clearing codes and new maf.
I have never cleaned my IACV or EGR, I am thinking maybe crankposition sensors since i have never done it before... (should i get a ses indicator for bad cps?)
Any insight at this point would be appreciated
Thanks!

IACV could be bad. Hope it didn't fry your ECU too. I tried cleaning mine and it made it worse. It was only doing it when the car was warmed up as well. Would turn it on and it would immediately die, had to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running. Had to replace the IACV and ECU. Good luck.

You should get a light for any sensor failing bad enough to stall the car. I'd check the plugs first. If the bad MAF was making it run so rich that it was smoking it could have fouled the plugs. In fact, I'd go ahead and replace them after what happened any way.
