I am puzzled. I just installed new ACT 6-puck Z34 clutch with Maxima Fidanza flywheel. Now the car won't start. It is reading RPM signal from the crank sensor, but it wont start. Crank signal should be at leas 400 and its at 250. Could it be the timing ring on the flywheel? I cant seem to figure it out.

I think I figured it out. Crank sensor is only reading RPM at 1st start-up. Hooiked up noid light and confirmed erratic pulse. When I installed flywheel, I lined up the 1 0f 2 notches incorrectly. I guess I had a 50% chance. I guess I am stuck pulling this tranny out again tonight. Sure the hell not going have any time tomorrow. The car has to be ready for the big day on Friday: The trip to Speed Force Racing. Yeah!!!

Good thing you figured it out. Those type of problems can be enough to throw me over the edge.

Nothing like working on something for hours to find out it doesn't work at the end.

Problem solved. The flywheel needed to be clocked about 13 degrees to the other dial pin. It definitely wasn't reading the proper RPM signal from the crank sensor.

Wow! Your car is one of the most tastefully done 5.5 gens already, and soon enough it will be a pure beast! How much whp are you striving for? IIRC the other 5.5 SFR Turbo'd Max consistently puts down 390+ horsepower. Thats crazy! Goodluck +1
