Hate to say it, but Crutchfield is not your friend when it comes to double dins in the Max. Their fit tool will report that double dins do not fit, when we all know they do. And can be trimmed with the gxe or gle (can't recall which) vent trim.

You can get other reliable info from Crutchfield though.

I have a 7" screen in my car with a dash kit. Any larger and you'd probably have to make a custom bezel.

this is true, I remember coming across this issue when I was shopping for a headunit. Some max owners on the org had double din setups and pics to match. The same units they were running Crutchfield claimed would not fit the car...

Other than that they're great though.

Double Din sized headunits or about a 7" screen. I have a 7" touchscreen right now with the GXE dash kit.

This was a test fit, but has been redone since.
