For what it's worth, Meguiars Black Magic does an amazing job with unpainted, black plastic surfaces. I use it on the little triangle behind the side-view mirrors on my Maxima. I also use it for the huge surface area of black plastic cladding on my wife's CR-V.

IMO, paint the lip. But if you like keeping the lip unpainted, try Black Magic on it.

I've always heard it makes them seem lower to the ground. But I can see it making the car look smaller, too.

I'm going to throw this out there, and it's just an opinion so don't take it personally...

I'd pass on putting the Stillen decal under the burger on your front grill. While it has a curiously good visual balance, it's extremely obvious. And for as many people who recognize "Stillen" and appreciate the manufacturer, there are probably just as many who would recognize the logo and disparage the manufacturer as overpriced and pretentious with regard to their performance parts.

For example, I've had the top half of the Cattman logo decal on my side skirts for the last couple of years, and loved them. However, two years later and I'm taking them off this Spring. Hard to explain, but what was right to me then doesn't feel right to me anymore.

As I said, it's just someone else's opinion. At the end of the day, your opinion is what matters. If you look at that decal and it makes you happy, more power to you, 03VIPMAX.

.. i agree with your thinking,.. decals belong under the hood where no one but you see them when your under there...but to each their own..

where did you guys get the rivets from? Home depot? I bought my lip off of someone from the org 6 months ago. Plan on putting on in the spring. But also debating on having it custom molded into the bumper.

Just curious, what's up with your fog lamps? The glare guards seem unusually visible.

My car ain't even worth looking at. It's just another family Maxima on the road. It's a 5th Gen but when I get my taxes, I'm going for the 5.5 front end [except the OEM headlights, dont got $500 to spend]. My car is suffering right now My hood is bent halfways and it don't close, with a broken bumper, and a pushed in headlight.
