DRL's on US spec cars
I was wondering if there was a way to put DRL's on US spec cars? Since the cars in Canada have them there should be a way to do it on our cars, right?

I know I should know this, but what is a DRL?

DRL = Daytime Running Lamps/Lights

I wish my Accord had them. I just run with my headlights on all the time. It'd help if they actually had DRL's though. Insurance discounts :)

Well I am looking at the ESM and the major difference is the SMART control unit (ECU) and there is another Daytime Running lights module. Might not be worth it in the long run to buy all those components to make it work.

DRL solution #1: Purchase Canadian spec vehicle
DRL solution #2: Purchase US spec vehicle, then turn lights to "On" position |

Did anyone ever get a DRL (Daytime Running Lights) solution? I would like to get Daytime Running Lights on my 1999 Nissan Maxima. Can anyone point me in the direction?
