DRL's on US spec cars

I was wondering if there was a way to put DRL's on US spec cars? Since the cars in Canada have them there should be a way to do it on our cars, right?

I wish my Accord had them. I just run with my headlights on all the time. It'd help if they actually had DRL's though. Insurance discounts

Well I am looking at the ESM and the major difference is the SMART control unit (ECU) and there is another Daytime Running lights module. Might not be worth it in the long run to buy all those components to make it work.

Did anyone ever get a DRL (Daytime Running Lights) solution? I would like to get Daytime Running Lights on my 1999 Nissan Maxima. Can anyone point me in the direction?

DRL solution #1: Purchase Canadian spec vehicle

DRL solution #2: Purchase US spec vehicle, then turn lights to "On" position

First off, this is the fifth generation section, so you're in the wrong place.
Secondly, this thread is over 7 years old.

If you have a question you should consult the newbie thread for your generation.
