I'm approaching my 8th year at 57,000 miles. It seems that I'm on the 10-year plan. When the wife's CR-V is paid off, Rochester will be buying a G37S 6MT. (Or a Mustang GT 6MT, depending on how seriously affected I am by mid-life crisis.)
A Mustang? Come on, get a Camaro.

Actually, I take that back. Get the G37S.

Drove the Camaro SS 6MT pretty hard this past Fall. It's an insanely fast car, but Chevy Quality = Fail.

Simply put, the Camaro is a complete ****. By that I mean, from a distance, it makes you stop and stare with almost palatable lust. But the closer you get, the more awkward and uncomfortable it becomes. And once you actually get inside, well, it's all wrong... and then the regret sets in.

That's the Camaro. A big, orange ****.

The G37-S, on the other hand, that's the chick that's almost out of your league, so you appreciate every single moment.

Um, these analogies are getting weird. Boy, is this off-topic.

What would your wife have to say about those analogies?

I really didn't know the Camaro was that regretful. I have yet to drive one, and I haven't really heard anything negative about it. But I guess there IS a difference between negative and "eh..."

Personally, I think getting rid of t-tops was the biggest mistake ever.

I did drive a 2010 Mustang V6, and the car wasn't bad for a base model. It was comfy. The only complaint I had was that the suspension was a bit soft for a sports car.

Of all the new American cars I've driven, the one I'm actually most impressed with is the redesigned Fusion. We have a few in the car fleet where I work, and the fully loaded Fusion is awesome. It has an awesome stock sound system, heated seats, and it was just all around a fun car to drive for a 4-door sedan.

As far as the G37-S. That's a bit out of my league right now. I doubt that the dealer here would even let me breathe around the car, let alone sit in it.

I'll be attacking it once the weather breaks...along with a laundry list of other items for all my cars.

Dang Rochester, only 57k! Well you will love the 3.7 in the G if you decide on it. I love it in my Z, but the Max is still my boo! I hope you keep the Max as well.

Its been snowing here and once the weather breaks and i can get a good pic of it ill post it up. its very tiny right now but im sure it wont take long for it to get bigger. I may just fix it and trade it or sell it outright. I havent decided yet.

Mine has just a little surface rust around that poorly designed wheel well seam. I spray it with rust inhibitor every time I wash it,(in the winter), in hopes of keeping it contained to surface rust.

While I'm aware of it, I'm also not losing sleep over the issue.
I wish more people would listen to you. Cause I completely agree with so far every one of your posts.

OP get ir fixed or sell the car already. it happened now either get rid of the "problem" or fix it. you have a very desirable car so to me its a no brainer.

I really hope you actually listen/comprehend this time

Yes i was doing a little *****ing about it because nobody wants to see rust on there car. I also asked if this was a common area of rust on the 5th gens. So i dont think this thread is jus a rant thread. Some of you guys act like you never complain about your cars when something goes wrong. Yes it is a very desirable car, but its a car that has given me headaches from pretty much day #1.... oh wait, there i go again with the complaining.
