has anyone here used or is using the custom maxima headers and exhaust or either of them? just wondering if it sounds good and does what it is suspose to?

Havent personally used it but Ive heard good things.. I am waiting for the new custom maxima catback and I will be buying one.

I though, have longtube headers with a equal length y pipe to test pipe to catback..

Yes if your a 5th gen (00-01) then yes its worth it, as all your precat is in your y so you will see gains... an exhaust... well that just speaks for itself as the only difference in exhaust is their sound, all 2.5 exhaust if they are mandrel bent should show the same gains...... answer

 

Hey guys! I just got my 01 max and i want to fix it up. I'm looking for exhaust system and a radiator to buy. Do anyone know what after market brand i should get or should go to the dealer? could someone help me out!

 

Look in the group deal section for a radiator. And if you are looking for a cat-back exhaust for a mild sound increase, check out Cattman. It has a nice OEM look with a slightly louder sound.

Also, check out the group deal section for the CustomMaxima dual tipped catback.
