Can some answer this subject?

I would like to know how much more hp I would gain if I install a straight through muffler versus my stock Y2K muffler?

I would appreciate hardcore data.

Do a search, a while back some of us hard sold the dyno on a Greddy Evo. The hp increase was only 6hp. Before that, when I first started lurking on this board, someone else dynoed the Stillen hi-flo intake @ 6 hp. That same member dynoed a Stillen y-pipe @ about 12 hp. I just posted that I went to Courtesy Nissan today & I saw a 2K2 SE-R Max(put together by Courtesy not Nissan) that had an awesome looking full catback by Blitz. I will do my homework like a good org member and find out any dynos that are out there and hopefully get one asap. I hope that helps you a little bit. Depending on what year Max you have, a Stillen y-pipe might be a better mod for your $$$.

well, when i had my car dynoed with just a Stillen intake and y-pipe, the most recent dyno netted 194fwhp and about 187lbs-ft of torque.

after my GReddy Evolution catback, UR racing pulley and 2 fuel pressure regulators, the numbers jumped to 204fwhp(although this time i didn't have a fan and it was much hotter than the first time i dynoed...i think i could have gotten around 210fwhp), and 201ft-lbs of torque(again, the same thing)...

i know these numbers are not just with a catback exhaust, but i'm guessing that my catback gave me about 5-6 in the top end.

oh by the way, i have a '00 5 speed
