na not a bomz, didnt even know what that was until i looked it up. its all spectre parts from pepboys as i said before im broke as sh*t in college. all together it cost me around $65 which was way too much being that all parts are plastic and cost $0.02 for them to make. the could charge you like $10 for a 4" long, 3" diameter tube. baloney sandwiches i say

The 00 Engine Cover was crappy. It is so tiny, unlike the 01's. Or maybe somebody replaced the cover, I could see bolts that were used before....need to post a pic.

My 2000 cover is small and covers really nothing. I think I am going to find a 2001 and put it on mine. I am looking at getting this tie bar too. For $30 why not?????

I'll give you $1 million if you find one. The only people who actually care about putting a strut bar on a Max are us gearhead types. If a junked Max had one, you can almost be sure the owner took it off and sold it, but more power to ya if you find one.

they do work well as long as u dont buy a swiss cheese looking one. ebay does have a few decent ones as long as they look pretty beefy ull be set. im planing on getting one soon after i drop her. u do notice a little stiffer feel around corners and when u pop the hood it adds a little eye appeal as well

the ebay fstb is well worth the money. I have one, the welds dont look fantastic but they are holding up just fine for 4-5 months now no complaints. dont let these naysayers put you down. Fancy strut bars that cost $100+ are the real waste of money. Even if you bought and broke 3 ebay ones it would be less expensive than 1 racingline or stillen.

Also, if you have somebody reinforce the welds you should be able to safely pull at least 5gs if you have racing tires and NOS

eBay FSTB:

Going on well over 3+ years now...

...not one single issue.

[Well except for rub marks from the underhood insulator]

Definitely. +1 for the solid steel FSTB! If ebay had one like this for our cars I'd jump at it. (Still waiting on the ebay store to have more of the $30 FSTBs though. They're out until the end of the month apparently.)
