Anyone Ever Tried to do This??

OK guys, i have always thought of this since the day i got my maxima 03.
i love how the infiniti uses a analog clock, opposed to our distant digital..
Most of the interior parts are interchangeable i believe, so my question is this.

is it possible to fully remove the digi clock, buy an infiniti clock with top panel, run maxima clock power to new analog given pig tails, make the infiniti top panel sit flush.
other parts that are needed, infiniti clock with pigtail, new rounded out vents.

anyone else think its do-able?
open to your opinions.

best place for some interior shots to get your minds going.

It look like everything from the CD player up is interchangeable. Something would have to be used for the Infinity hazard swirch, maybe a filler panel, but IMO, I think it's very doable. Post up pics if you decide to give this a go.

The Infinity guys might have more insight on this.

All I can offer is interest in what you're doing. I always thought the Infiniti analog clock is a nice piece of design; elegant and upscale.

Just a little peice of info. That compartment right above the clock is only available in the 2000 i30. 2001+ doesnt have it. It's just smooth.

i personally am starting to feel its totally doable without much hassle...
as far as wiring diagram..only thing electrical there is the clock..and iv pulled many inifiniti clocks at the yards to ebay, its 3 wires if i recall. (ground, power and illumination)
totally going forward with it..

on a side note, i just wasted 19 dollars on ebay jumping the gun thinking the infiniti right side vent would interchange with the cup holder. (which is bad *** imo)
