To Let everyone know Bit sizes to removing airbag
So I am parting out either a 2000 or 2001 GLE... Taking the airbags out was tricky for me because i didnt have a tamper proof (with the hole in middle) set of torx bits... People on here was telling me it was a T50 and Nissan mechanic told me it was a T30...
If anyone needs to know the sizes here it is.
The Driver side airbag is a T-30 Tamper proof / resistant Torx bit...
The Passenger side bag is a T-50 Tamper proof / resistant Torx bit...
The Airbag Module / computer that is located under the center console
Is a T-50 as well...
The T-50 bit is HARD to find... I bought it off a snap on truck and ran me $30...
I am just trying to help out for anyone that is confused on it..
