ABS Sensor

I snapped off both my front ABS sensors trying to remove them from my spindle during a bearing change ( my duh moment came later when I was searching the forums and read the suggestion to disconnect the wire from the controller, pulling the wire through and laeving the sensor in place.)

Anyway, I have read costs ranging from $50-150 for these d**m things, but I can't find anyone who has them online. Does anyone know where I can get them? I haven't called Dave B yet, being easter weekend and all, but is there anywhere I can get them sub-$100, even used? $150 just seems crazy for these things.

Also, other than obviously not having ABS, does not having the senors affect anything else? I read one person's speedometer didn't work w/ both sensors out. I thought this was a seperate sensor.

And why is the 5th gen sensors so rare and expensive anyway? I can find plenty for up to '99's and othe makes and models for $50-60, but ony a few places seem to have them for the '00+ and just seriously rape you.
