so i just changed the plugs on my 02 se with NGK iridums and oil change today and ii changed 5 of the 6 cuz i didnt have time to take off the intake manifold for the last one but i put evrything back together started the car and it revs at 500 rpms and then dies after 2 seconds? any ideas?

 

Vacuum leak?

That'd be my first thought.

 

Something isn't hooked up right. Go back over what you did and make sure you didn't miss connecting something back up.

 

thanks alot guys im going to take it all apart tomorow and start again. i just drove it home from my friends house it seems ok while driven i lil jittery but when i come to a stop or throw it in neutral itll try to stay alve but then dies

 

maybe you guys could help me? My car will idle and then die. only has it done this in park. any idea? TPS? PCV?

 

ok so i took everything apart today and realized the gasket that goes from the back pipe of the throttle body to the head of the intake manifold that looks like a disfigured number 8 was all bent. bought a new one for 15 bucks put everything together and its everythings ok but it seems like the car has lost major HP 2nd gear feels like it goes on forever when WOT any ideas??
