Left drift revisited...SOUND OFF!
Left drift revisited...SOUND OFF!
Hey fellas, I posted this a couple of weeks ago, but wanted to get a summary of people with the same problem, and hear what the dealerships have told them.
In review, the Saturday after Thanksgiving I bought an 02 SE, and immediately noticed the left pull, which got significantly worse under acceleration. Checked the tire pressure, which was uniform in all 4 tires. Called my sales rep at Mossy Nissan (I'm in Houston,) and we agreed it would be looked at when I came to pick up my plates.
Saturday I went in, but they said they could not check out my problem because of the crappy weather (rain and wind,)On another note, I waited two fu*#ing hours to find out they didn't have my splashguards in stock (They were supposed to have been ordered at purchase.)
VERY CURIOUSLY, I met a gentleman in the waiting area who owns an 01 with the same left pull problem! They told him that the alignment looked fine, no abnormal tire wear, and they recommended a tire rotation. Coincidence? I think not...

sllloyd, you were there too? I was there on Saturday morning with my 2k2 SE (Maj Blue with personalized license plates) for an oil change.
I noticed two gentlemen with black 2k2's reporting the same left-pull problem. If you were one of them, would you be the one with glasses and a cap? If so, you just walked past by me
I, for one, never experienced that. However it did pull very noticeably to the right when i first got the car. Lately it stopped doing that so i'm cool with it.

A 2k2 I drove pulled to the left as well.. Might be the factory screwing up the alignments.

Mine pulls to the left some as well. Need to take into the dealership (Mossy in Houston) to have it looked it at but will wait until my 1st oilchange in another 1200 miles.
I thought all cars should drift to the right if anything, this way if you fall asleep at the wheel you go away from traffic and not into it.
