Where the hell are you going to find a 2002 SE-R V-spec 6-speed? No such animal is manufactured by Nissan. I have seen a SE-R(badged by Courtesy Nissan in Richardson, not by Nissan in Japan).

he probably means spec V...
If you can live with the sentra's interior dimension, why did you buy a maxima in the first place?

Nope after reading the performance specs of the Sentra, and if I couldn't afford a max, then yeah I would buy a Sentra, but possibly not a 6-speed...too much stop and go traffic.

I'm happy with my Max. It's the only dream car that I can really afford.

I actually liked the cable clutch in my old Integra ('89). As I wore the clutch down, I'd just go in and adjust it by spinning a nut by the tranny at the end of the cable. Kind of nice.

I drove one. IMO the shifter wasn't THAT bad. and the throws were a hell of alot shorter than in my 99 SE.

IMO, the cable shift 6-speed is not very good in the 2K2 Max either.

Rice is nice, in one day, don't eat it twice. Who on earth would even dare mention both cars in the same post. Seen the V-spec @ my dealership last time that I took my Max in for service. Read the magazine articles on V-spec ratings, even the Civic SI, or VW 1.8T Jetta gets better reviews. If you have a 2000 Max(like I do), at this point you would lose about $4,500-5,000 to trade in.
