How's it going guys...

So well...for probably the 5th time now I'm going to buy my 5.5 gen back from my dad for the last time...I'm going to sell my 240 and go back to having a pretty nice daily for the time being. Good to be back.

So what intake should I put on my car?!!????!?

Look forward to getting up to date on everything again

Get a BPI or Blox (amazon) velocity stack, an AEM dry flow filter (6"x4" is pretty popular), a MAF adapter, and a few couplers/random pieces of 3" pipe and make one yourself. That's around $100 total and you'd have an entire intake that will work quite well.

Welcome back!

edit: to stockmaximaFTW - not all intakes are made equal.

and atthe end of the day its basically just noise. wow somewhere around 6k you gained 5whp. congrats. you are now .02 faster in the 1/4. MPG stays the same. obviously if you were to say do a fwi with 3'' ID and had tuning software you could see a worthwhile gain.

do as the above said. spend 100 bucks and do it right.

I do still agree there are way too many intake threads around.

I dunno if you lurk much, but the 5th gen forum LOOOOVES to start another header thread every week or so, too.

Also, this kid's been around, had / will have a nice max, isn't an idiot, usually has his head on right as in he knows the basics. So I'm pretty sure he was just welcoming himself back.

Don't forget you want 245/40/18 tires for the 350z/SE-R wheels, and the driveability issue is the MAF. There's about ten of those threads a week.

Well thank you very much sir...

And yes guys...I'm just kidding about the intake question, I just did that because that's like the #1 asked question from newbies

Agh I feel at home...

Me, too. To this day, 12 years later, I still have regrets trading up my old 240SX. Should have kept it longer. I got a little wistful seeing Pimp's 240 sig image.

Anyway, it was fun watching you guys get suckered into starting another intake thread.
