5.5 plug and play Aftermarket headlights?

Most of the threads i'm finding are of people asking about putting this in a 00-01 so since mine will be the other way around i want to make sure they will fit before i order anything.

I bought a wrecked maxima that i planned on fixing up to keep but just recently FINALLY found a 6MT at auction that i want to buy to keep instead. Anyways i've decided to fix this one up quick to sell and it's not worth the money to buy OEM headlights so i'm looking at the ebay ones (Yes i know ALL about them please don't lecture me)

I will be buying OEM for the car i'm keeping but the person i'm selling this one to does NOT care since it will save him $400 or so.

The ONLY thing i don't know is if there are any that are Plug and Play. From looking at some auctions the lights say fits ALL 00-03 maximas and others say will NOT fit factory HID cars. Well since i don't trust the one that says fits all and i don't really want to splice any wires unless i have to are there any that really are plug and play?

I'd like to get the car done by this weekend so i'd like to get a pair ordered today.

Thanks guys!!

None of the eBay headlights are plug and play as far as I know. I'm pretty sure the projectors they sell take H3 bulbs in the low beams.

If you're looking for true pnp headlights for the 5.5, you'll probably have to spend more money. Someone here on the org was selling a set of eBay headlights with projectors retrod to be pnp for a reasonable price. Check out the 5th gen classifieds...

darn that's what i was afraid of. Well i'm glad i didn't just order anything then. I basically have 1 good headlight for the 2 maxima's i own that need both and then the one i'm looking at buying needs both. 5 headlights at $300 a pop = more than i want to spend.

keep searching ebay from time to time, some decent lights will pop up for $100-$150 a piece

What wrong with the lights...just hazed and foggy?

Mine are completely F'ed up! I literally shifted into the back of an sti. And my whole front needs work. And headlights are like 400 a piece new so i am either looking for aftermarket ones or used oems. And the problem with aftermarket is many dont come with hid bulbs so need to think about it, and look around!

find them used.

those projector ebay and reflector ebay ones look cheap IMO and IIRC don't usually come with an HID kit. AutoDepots are a step up but are no OEMs but they look like OEMs. They do come with HIDs I believe but I can still find OEM headlights cheaper then those.

Out of curiosity is there an adapter to put 00-01 headlights in? I know it would be a sin but like i said i'm selling it and the guy doesn't care.
