Voltage Problems

Bout a year ago my alternator died on me and I had no clue. Kept driving like nothing til the battery died.

So I put an Autozone alternator in and would notice voltage drops. It was kinda normal, 13.4-6. After a while tho I would see 12s. So I swapped it out (Thank god for warranty).
It kinda helped but the problem came back.

Yesterday I bought an Optima Red, I figured maybe it was the battery. It pretty much fixed the problem until I got home and parked. I started playing around with the accessories. I pulled up all 4 windows and my voltage dropped to the 11s and I let go, voltage went back up to 12s.

I'm thinking maybe swapping the alternator one more time. Maybe I messed it up with the old battery?

You can't mess up a battery. I'm willing to bet you have another bad alternator, which wouldn't be surprising. These remanu. alts that Autozone type stores have are awful.

yah autozone can actaully do an alternator test. I would call them because i dont know if you have to remove it or if they can do it while it is in the car. Just a suggestion. If not take it to an auto electric shop. They are usually reliable because they have been around for while. Don't go to a midas or something they don't know what they are doing. take it to a specialty shop and let them look at your regulators and voltages. More power to you if you know how to do it.
