Rear Window Spoiler got stolen

Ok Guys some Lame stole ma Rear Window Spoiler I got from paradox systems. I checked paradox and they no longer have them in stock for 2003 Max. I went on ionicdynamics and they were $99. I purchased the ones on paradox for $60 plus I believe. I searched here and googled window spoilers for 03 Max but cant find nothing other than ionicdynamics.

2 Questions: Does anyone have any other sites in mind to purchase one other than for $300 which is ridiculous? ALso is the one on ionic sturdy and hard to take off? Or same material from Paradox??

Thanks

Where do you live. Because my boys roof spiller got jacked too in my college parking lot. I'm from long island NY. I ordered it from paadox systems as well. Those ionic ones from what I hear fit like crap.
I have a brand new paradox 1\2 roof spoiler that I didn't install Yet. I was the last person to order it off the site. The guy hArry told me they were discontinued 5 years ago. He had A box mis labeled 95-99 instead of 00-03. So I was lucky to get one. IMO they look and fit the best on our cars

You're from Brooklyn no wonder. Advice, dont buy another one cause its going to happen again. Maximas are the new civics especially in Brooklyn and Queens. Keep it simple, if its not bolted on or welded in, its not worth putting it on your car especially if you dont own a garage or have a gated driveway with auto yard lights and a camera.

a good guy over at nycmaximas informed me about these two products.

Try 3M WindowWeld.

If you want to go really ape**** paranoia about it being stolen, look into a product called SIKAFLEX. That is what my body shop used to bond my rear window spoiler and it never came off and was never stolen. I believe the product is SIKAFLEX 221. You can talk to a body shop about if they have access to 3M Epoxies as well, tell them you want the part BONDED to the car and they can take care of it for you at a small charge. These are industrial epoxy adhesives designed to withstand 200+ psi of force.

Another reason I love living in Alabama, the concept of roof spoilers(or pretty much ANYTHING JDM/hellflush-esque) is foreign here

Umm... all the more reason some may feel the urge to take advantage of such a rare find - even if already glued to a vehicle.

OP, been through any carwashes lately? My dad thought someone stole the lip spoiler of his M3 once. Went througha carwash a week later and the attendant handed him back his spoiler - was waiting for him to come through again.

Still, sucks either way that its gone.

Dont bother buying a new one cause you'll end up writing another thread saying it happened again(I've repeated what I said earlier). If it happened once it'll happen again. I have heard too many stories and also saw a video of people getting stuff taken off in Brooklyn. That's why I don't disclose where I from. Too much crap going on in NYC. And no one in the area reports anything. Whats the point in having neighbors.

Well i spoke with Maxmojo about this yesterday. I was informed that the reason he stoped selling them was due to the fact that a cheaper quality fiberglass product was introduced, and forced him to stop production of the line! I can talk to him again if we have enuff people that are interested in the same product we have know to love from him, and see if we can get the production ran one more time. Pm me if you want in on it and if you want more then one also let me know so i can run it by him and get a answer!

When and if someone tries to jack mine...they will be in for a surprize.... I should have several finger tips left behind only to have physical evidence or the only required proof needed as to who tried to steal it. Ok..I don't care about the DNA...if they get to the ER in time they might attach a few of the digits back on, but the rest will I can wash off

Does anyone have the spoiler from a 2002 Maxima SE for sale? If not, do you know any good places to get one?
