OK, so i got in contact with the owner of paradox-systems and i know that a bunch of people here like/ are interested in the 1/2 size rear window spoiler. If you know back a few years ago paradox used to sell these, but unfortunately they were discontinued. The owner contacted the manufacture of these and he said that he would produce them if a large quantity was requested. he would need at least 20 of us to start the production.. Keep in mind that these are imported from Japan and these are not the fiberglass ones, the material is the same acrylic made from the window rain guards. and the fitment is right on. IMO these fit and look the nicest on any 00-03 maxima. so if your in lets start a list here

Not to plug a company or anything but ionicdynamic still sells the 1/2 size Spoiler for the 5th Gens.

http://ionicdynamics.com/MaxFGroofspoilers.html

How would or ARE these better?

That ionicdynamic spoiler looks OEM perfect on the 6th gen. On the 5th gen, not so much. The wrap-around ends looks thin and awkward, somehow.

But I'm in for curiosity on this thread. And there's an outside chance on being in for the group buy, depending on the look. I can't imagine the price being a show-stopper for something like this.

Ionicdynamics wants $99 shipped. If the price is right (and much less than Ionic's) I'm in as well.

If it blows off - There's No warranty

Hey...just to let you know that there is no warranty on the product. I was lucky mine didn't blow away. I got the last one and the double-sided tape must have been too old. After a month or so, it started lifting up. Harry did say, “sorry” but the double-sided tape nor the product is not covered under any form of warranty. I cleaned the surfaces really well, prepped with alcohol and even the promoter designed to help the tape stick better.

By the way, my Max is super black and the description says you don't really have to paint it to match the black. You'll have to paint it to match, unless the one I received is old and discolored too? The inside is darker; therefore the sun might have faded the outer side more???? I'm just say'in....????

i wasnt expecting a warranty on this type of product, but are u saying u purchased one from harry. and since it happen to be the last one meaning it was sitting up for awhile therefore thats why it was discolored/faded & the tape didnt hold or what?

In that case before you apply something like this inspect the tape. At worst go to autozone and get some emblem tape. You wouldn't believe the hold that stuff has.

I am not sure, but the spoiler didn't look particularly aged. The peel off tape did seem to come off too easy and the product didn’t adhere as compared to other items I've attached in the past, especially to glass. It was a PITA to remove the old tape that was darker in color and installing the new tape was not so bad just lighter in color
