Stereo Dash Kit

I want to put in an aftermarket head unit in my car however the Metra dash kit I ordered doesn't match my titanium's silver at all. It's more like a grayish color.

I was wondering if anyone knows the name of the color of the paint or where I could buy the paint to get it to match. I searched and everyone often said go to a 'paint shop' but I don't know any 'paint shops' in NYC. If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it.

I was considering going to a general paint store and matching it to the samples, would that work? Then put it in a paint gun and spray?

(the vent silver color)

GRAIGGGG, just put your dang system in and worry about it later!

it's just a piece of plastic to take off and paint when you find the right color

Some Autozone's have a big selection of so called "trim" paint I can't remember the brand but ill try to put it up after I look at the brand. I found some that closely matched my interior pieces.

Take the trim piece to Sherwin Williams or Dupont. They can put the eye on it and that will match he close as close as possible. Buy a half pint, spray, dry, reinstall.

I'm sure if you do an internet search for paint shops in NYC, you'll find some.

The GXE kit isn't in the TE color. It's the stock GXE/GLE/non-TE SE color.

Is that the Scosche dash kit?
I bought that one originally for my car cause it matched the color. Nothing I could do would make the stereo and pocket fit without leaving a gap.. I had to return the kit. Biggest junk ever.

I ended up with I believe a Metra kit which fits perfectly.
