They plug right in but as mentioned above light output is poor. Fortunately e55 projectors swap right in.

Once you get sick of not being able to see at night do a projector retrofit

Its not so bad that you totally cant see but they are noticeably dimmer than oem.

If it were me i would get the ebay projectors and get real projectors like these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/E55-H...ht_2588wt_1167)
and a hid kit like these http://www.ddmtuning.com/category.php?CA=85

and swap them in

Here is a writeup I did on how to do this on the reflector version of the ebay lights. Once i get some free time I think I am going to get a set of the projector version and redo it because the shroud on the reflector version is like 4" and looks a little sloppy with the 3" projectors. The retrofit on the projector version is much easier than the one below but similar steps

link didn't work.

All of the projector headlights that are on ebay or anywhere else for that matter are the same. I am pretty sure all of the reflector and projector style headlights have halos on them as well. Unless you found something that I have never seen before.

as was said before the headlights plug right into the OEM harness...the light output is poor in that it seems to be quite diffuse (from my experience). The pattern does improve once you have aimed the headlights (there are aiming bolts for doing this on the ebay headlights)...just take the time to aim them properly and they arent that much worse than the OEM headlights...people make it sound like if you have the ebay headlights you cant see anything and you are likely to crash and die or something. This is a misconception; maybe these people have not aimed their headlights. From my experience the ebay headlights absolutely need to be aimed before they output properly.

Not to be rude, but kid you gotta search, there are so many threads on HID headlights and what options we have for lighting.
