Maxima vs. Neon SRT-4

Hey, I was just reminded of the time I raced a Neon SRT-4 a couple years ago, and he beat me off the line (not by a crazy amount, but definitely beat me)... Now this was before all my mods I have listed in my sig, and I'm sure it'd be a closer match now, but here's my question: How quick are these cars supposed to be in relation to ours? Should a Maxima (modded as mine is) be able to beat a stock Neon SRT-4? Does anyone have any experiences racing one?

while i doubt your 17's and hid's will be of any help, i do think you'd keep up. I raced a stage 2 in my old 4th gen autotragic and got destroyed... the cars are made to move.. just dont expect any kind of luxury.. squeaky plastic FTW!

They run flat 14's stock and have a pretty stout bottom end (nohomo). I dont think it'd take a whole lot to get one in the low 13's...all depending on the skill of the driver. I think the biggest issue with them, like any decently powered FWD is traction. Btw, I am refering to the Neon one's not the Caliber one's...
