If you don't trust yourself ( I also don't trust me), just leave it, no malibu lens needed.

If you don't trust yourself with a dremel and some 'cheap' parts, I'd suggest staying away from modding your 'expensive' 5.5 gen headlights. Opening up the headlights AND properly resealing them once your finished is a bit more difficult than actually swapping out the orange lens.
Modding is WAY more enjoyable when YOU do it, and it's all about trusting yourself and your work. If your scared to try something, I'd suggest just stay away from it or pay someone for the labor.

First, the lights from Home Depot are like $10 i think maybe less, at least they were when i bought them like 6 months ago (so money isn't that big of a deal, if you mess it up that bad you can get more for fairly cheap). Second, they are plastic and VERY VERY easy to cut up with the dremel (just remove the orange lens from the headlight, trace around it on the new lens and slowly trim around the traced circle, start off a little big and test fit, continue to trim down until you get a tight fit-very simple). Third, the Malibu lens is not a matching lens, it's frosted from what I understand and will not give you the look you are looking for.

Actually the one from Tap Plastics is Frosted. I might just see who interested in doing this or just take the lens out and leave it clear and install a clear blinker

You are right, the Malibu lens is from the light you buy from home depot. Just did a refresher search. There is no direct swap malibu lens. The direct swap talked about was the tap plastics lens which is frosted, and not desirable.
I didn't use any clamps/channel locks on my headlights. I just heated them back up in the oven and pushed them back together as best I could. It doesn't take long for them to cool off enough that the glue holds its form. The housing will still be warm but not hot enough for you to pull the headlights apart. This is a very simple mod. Just don't try to rush it
