strut question

Could worn struts cause you to feel the road ripple more. In my 2002 maxima
I notice the imperfections in the the road, sort of like a vibration but only on certain points on the road. I had the front end aligned and shop said stuts were ok but if I were keeping it longterm he would change them. Compared to my other car a 2007 A6 I feel the road imperfections much more.

I would hope an '07 A6 rides better than a Maxima...

But yeah, worn struts could cause you to feel more ripples in the road. One street near my house literally looks like a washboard, and before I installed my MR springs, the ride over that stretch of road was terrible. Afterwards, the ride was better. Once I replace my struts, I probably won't even feel the bumps. Hopefully.

Yeah, totally normal. Every bump on the road will make the car bounce up and down repeatedly on worn struts.
