01 OEM CD Changer Question

Already posted in audio section with no response...Anyone here have any insight?

I have the 01 Anniv Edition and got brand new real cheap OEM CD changer to hookup. Does anyone know if I have to rip up the carpet pull out the head unit and do all that work of running the harness or was Nissan nice enough to have a drop for me somewhere in the trunk of the vehicle?

Thanks in advance.

The OEM CD Changer is Clarion which is a Bose brand and you should be all set to plug and play. I believe all AE's came with CD changer so if yours was just missing and you found an OEM then all you need to do is plug in and mount in the trunk.

Thanks for the response. I believe changer was an option and yes it is the clarion still all wrapped in nissan packaging with the wiring harness, bracket etc but I'm REALLY hoping I dont have to tear into the car and run the harness and pull the headunit out. I'll pull back the trunk trim for a look see.

I think the changer went on D/S can someone verify for sure thats the side I should be pulling back?

Sorry to hear that! I thought maybe it would have had lines ran. Man I though all AE's came with the Bose 6 CD changer in trunk! guess not! Are you in Canada?
