So my cooling fan isn't really working right... I'm wondering if the ebay cooling fans are good? They're waaaay cheaper than OEM... Which would be the best? Does anyone have any experience with these. Here's the link to the ebay search:

You never know with items from E-bay. I haven't bought any car parts from E-bay (other than head units) so I don't have first hand experience. You don't get a brand name so you can't get any idea of reliability and usually not much of a warranty.

 

Yeah, but these fans (most of the ones around ~$90) claim to have OEM fitment and function + lifetime warranty. I know I know, still eBay, but it's just a fan... I dunno.

 

The Dorman brand is definitely louder and not as smooth as stock.

 

i bought my cooling fans from carpart.com....bought them for around $90+ shipping and instaled them myself...this was about 4 months ago and no problems at all.


the reason why i changed them was one of the fan motors was making a bearing noise.
