Alright guys here's the story.... I bought a 02 maxima se 2 weeks ago and the tires are just HORRIBLE, they're 5 years old and hard as hell since the car just sat in the garage. Okay now I have a 05 altima which I just put 4 new tires on and am planning on selling. The tire size on the altima is 215/55/R17. Now what I am planning on doing is putting those 4 new tires on my maxima which has 225/50/R17. I just swapped the whole rims today and tested the ride and the difference is Night and day.... the maxima tires are just crap. The thing I need confirmation on and if possible ASAP cause I'm planning on doing this tomorow is am I going to have a problem putting the altima tires on the Maxima rims? And a few questions to the side, will there be a difference in gas mileage or any pressure on my suspension? Thanks all for quick responses!

 

There should be no difference. For example, stock 2002 Maxima GLE were equipped with 215/55/17 while 2002 Maxima SE were equipped with 225/50/17.

and yes they will work
