will these fit

i used the searched first and didnt come up with a concrete answer to my question. so my question is will these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rear-Strut-Shock-Boot-Bumper-Isolators-Spring-Combo-/330479142192?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories &fits=Make%3ANissan|Model%3AMaxima&hash=item4cf217 8530 fit my 2000 max? i need new struts in a bad way and these seem like a good deal but it says 95'-99'. If someone could help me out with this one id appreciate it.

I don't think they will fit and even if they did, I would think that they wouldn't last a year.

For that price, buy a name brand.

thanks for the info. what makes you think they wouldnt? are the 4th gen rear and 5th gen rear diffrent?

i was told/read the rears are identical/interchangeable...

thats what i read aswell and thats why im trying to get more insite on the issue, i dont really know how well the source i read it from know there stuff so i figured id ask someone people who do.

The rears may work. They're a little different. The fronts won't without modification(I believe there are even a few threads on here about what mod is required). I looked into using 5th gens on my 4th gen because my bro gave me a good set for free. Rather than physically compare them, I went to the Monroe specifications catalog. Go straight to the source. It denotes travel, mounting bolt hole specs, body length, and so on. Google it and compare for yourself.

why dont you run the manufacturer part number listed and compare to part number for 5th to see if they will fit?
