rear abs sensors - are they the same on each side?

hey all,
are the rear ABS sensors the same units on each side of the vehicle (passenger vs driver side)?

how about the front vs the rear? and are the fronts the same on each side too?

thanks

ABS sensors are all on all 4 sides. Cleaning the magnetic end of the sensor with brake cleaner every 60K miles is a must.

I know they are at all 4 wheels - my question is are the sensors on each axle the same regardless of driver side vs passenger side?

When I was looking for them, there were a total of 8 different part numbers. 4 different parts for manual trans. and 4 different parts for auto trans.

yea theres so many different kinds. I have a 5 speed and the dealer told me the 5 speed ones are different because they will react much quicker while your tranny is in neutral and you were slipping on ice or something. Im not sure if the abs reacts in the automatics if your car is in neutral. Best bet is to call the dealer. i think all 4 are different but im not sure.
