I bet they really did their R&D on this kit. And I'm sure the fitment is fantastic.

Honestly, I'd save my money and go elsewhere. Coilover sleeves are not the way to go...

I was just curious about it.. It being so cheap maybe someone bought it, so I wanted to see how it had turned out..

 

From what I've seen, most people on the Org steer clear of any kind of coilover sleeves. Now I know there are one or two guys floating around here that use the Eibach Ground Control coilover sleeves.

But from what I've heard, the ride is very unforgiving...

Thats what happens when you buy super cheap coilovers, they just are not built very well. Post #1 & #6.

I was just wondering bc this coilover sleeves are about 30 bucks cheaper than the cheap ebay lowering springs.. which makes it ridiculous that adjustable springs are cheaper.. so if someone has them.. i would like to see the results..

 

all these photo's are not to be taken seriously... ish like that really doesnt just happen... whether its those ebay coilovers you are looking at or a set of JIC VIP coilovers that can happen, in order for something like that to happen something extremely and i mean extremely drastic has to happen where you didnt see an open sewer and you car fell in and the wheel fell in hitting that part of the coilover strut or you ran over a massive or some unmoeveably obect and it tore the coilovers like that... that wont happen under and normal or slightly abnormal circumstances and is often not to be believed

 

Upon reading the threads behind those pictures, it turned out the driver was skewing the details of his accident to try to blame his error on the suspension parts he had just installed. He was driving much faster than he said he was and it was mentioned that there were 170 feet of skid marks. The manufacturer, who had a copy of the police report, chimed in to say that his claims in no way matched up with what was in the copy of the police report that was given to them. So take that story with a grain of salt.

That being said, I would never buy these. They look like typical no-name poorly manufactured eBay crap. Save up your money and buy quality products, avoid garbage like this, end of discussion.

 

i got a buddy who we said **** it lets buy some of those sleeves for his integra cause we just find it impossibly dumb that they are as bad as ppl fake stories are.... anyways my friend has been on em for 2 years and no problem other than the gr2 struts he put em on are blown...

yea actually its more or less the sleeves...imo its sorta like the difference between illuminas on S-tech springs and oem struts on S-tech springs if you think about it...its more of the strut that makes the ride. i had a friend in a EG hatch, rode em with blown struts the whole time, no issues, other than the blown struts as was aforementioned..

 

You could try them but they take a little work to get good performance out of.

Namely going with Koni dampers, possibly shortening them, different camber plates/upper mounts for increased travel, etc.

 

they work, if ur looking for something that just works, you would just prefer to save for actual coilovers as buying those ur going to need good struts which at the end of the day u only end up saving make 1-200$

 

Sorry to bump up an old thread, So your saying that their not good if you plan on driving on a closed course weaving thru cones sh*t like that. But thier ok for every day regular use for just the lowered look with the ability to adjust height. I have like brand new stock shocks.
or was thinking about going megan racing for 130 you get a - Lower rate: 1.75" Front+Rear I have these on my 4th gen the handling is great it just doesn't put it as low as i would like it
