^^ the tour lip never tickled my ***** lmao...if sum1 cut the wings on the side to be straight it wuld look a million times better and also without the gills

 

my plans are to cut the wings off straight flush like the classic fill in the gills

 

touring lip kills the maximas...and killed this thread...my ***** was on hard like i was taking the blue pills...but since i laid eyes on the end part of page 3 and page 4...i am limp.

I think the tour kit looks good on the 02-03 but bad on the 00-01 front end . If the lip on the classic stuck out a little more like the touring it would have been nice.
I originally order the classic kit but traded the the classic lip for a never used touring lip still in box, The classic was to bland for my taste i guess. It could have been designed with a little more flare

The touring kit will give you more down force for the track lol so you can start beating tho's times

 

 

Because more down force is a good thing at the drag strip on a NA maxima.

 

You're right. I remember Stillen saying that the Maximas needed a lip for more downforce at the track. It was wind tunnel tested, IIRC.

 

Could that be why I'm unloading in 3rd? Man... some jerk at the track told me I had a nasty hole in my fuel map and I've been trying to fix it ever since.

Guess it's time to pony up for the stillen touring kit and run 9s. I'll just have to temporarily blind myself before getting in the car so I don't have to look at it.

Thanks man.. Its actualy 5spd VLSD. Was originaly 3.0 auto, then 3.0 SC auto, then 3.0 SC 5spd VLSD, then it will be 3.5 SC 5spd VLSD lol If my circumstances don't change my plans.
