Cheap tire websites?
In light of all the awesome-priced maxima stuff websites you guys have found and shared with us/me (radiator, struts,LCA kit, motor mounts, etc.) I figured I'd ask if y'all also know of any good cheap tire websites?
We all know about tirerack and discounttire, etc, I've found tires-easy.com, they look promising, but are there any others? Post 'em up, I'm in the market.
And guys, it's ok, spare me the "don't put cheap tires on your car" "your tire is the only part that touches the road", etc., speeches....
I know what I'm doing
Thanks!

Did you ever think of getting tires from a junk yard? Deals can be had. Last winter here in NJ I was able to get two practically front tires for my car. They were $10 a piece. I was shocked when the guy sold me two tires for $20. I still have the tires on the car today still have 70/80 tread left on them. Good Year Eagle RSA's

Thanks for all the replies, gang, I appreciate it. I perhaps should have clarified more in my original post. I wasn't really looking for "used" tires.
Now, I've rocked used tires for _yeeeeeeears_, junkyard tires, etc., but in the size I'm looking at purchasing (245/40/18) I wasn't expecting much selection, so I was just gonna get new ones. I've got my eyes on a set of 6th gen 18's here locally, so I'm hoping my budget after Christmas shopping will allow for daddy to get a new pair of shoes, too
Those websites have some great pricing, I think tires-easy still has 'em beat, but I neglected to consider (or maybe I was living a pipe dream looking for free shipping) the freight charges involved in getting 'em here.
Using some of the local vendors I do business with anyway, for where I work, I can get a cheap set of new 245/40's after tax for just a few bucks more than what those sites can do, once fedex/ups get their grubby little hands on 'em, so I s'pose I'll just pick 'em up locally, when/if the time comes.
Thanks again guys, y'll rock as always

I'm in the market for a set to pop on my 6th gen..The Goodyear RSA seem to be a noisy tire. Bought this car with 25,000 on it and they were noisy then..Looking at BF Goodrich right now..Planning on making purchase at Discount next week..What tires are you guys running?

What I've done in the past is find the best price I can find on the Internet, then taken that price to Discount Tire and said "you beat this, I'll buy from you". So far, this has worked every time, and then I get the free flat repairs, don't have to pay for shipping, etc.
I personally would not buy used tires. That's kind of like buying used brake pads, it's just too safety critical to mess around with.

I tried that with Discount Tire, but they wanted to charge me something like $24 per tire for mounting, balancing, etc.
And regarding used tires, I consider it one of the best buys on the planet. What do you think happens to the old tires with just a couple thousand miles on them when a guy decides to upgrade from 17" rims to 19" rims? Never had any issues with them, and I have had about 4 sets on everything from trucks to import sedans.
