00 ECM in 01 Maxima P0403

Hi, i have a 01 nissan maxima 20th anniversary. I had a bad IACV valve that burned out my ECM i found a 00 Infiniti I30 ecm and took it to nissan to get it installed and reflashed. As soon as i took the car home i received a P403 code ( Exhaust gas recirculation Malfun.). Iknow the 00 and 01 have differant intake manifolds for the EGR. Is there any way to fix this or some kind of 02 sim thing for the EGR. If anyone knows ASAP my car is in safe mode and can't go past 2,800 rpm. Any help greatly appreciated THank you

Check all your fuses under dash and under the hood then check the wiring harness and connectors then if you don"t find anything try replacing egr volume control valve. This info came from alldatadiy.com

00 has egr and 01 doesnt. Thats why you have the code. You need a 2001 ECU if you dont want that code.

All the post i've read - the IACV can fry the ECM, but all the post I've read, the car will run but not idle. My 2001 maxima, will not start - Turns over fine, like its not getting gas or spark. No check engine light when the dash lights up, no codes. My scanner says it can not locate the computer. Take it to the dealer and get a quote of $2000 to replace the ECM and IACV. Does this sound right? I think the dealer is guess!!

cheap way I went about this

eddiebob this is what I did. I bought the IACV as cheaply as possible from New Jersey autoparts installed myself, then got a 00 I30 computer like a idiot(get the correct year computer for your car) and then i took it to nissan with the new computer and got it reflashed. Cost me about $230 IACV, $90 for ECU and $135 for the reprogramming by nissan.
Also, Im doing for a fundrasier for a 01 ECM for my car and I have a 01 maxima MAF thats brandnew in the box for 90 obo., my old 01 20th anniversary computer (auto, no traction control) that has the damaged IACV problem for 60 if someone wants to buy and get repaired. Let me know ASAP as my car is in safe mode and can't go past 2800 rpm. thank you bye.
