NEED HELP OB2 Reader is not able to pull codes??

my obII reader is not pulling any codes ive checked my fuzes and they all check out good and im having a hard time trying to figure out what it is....
i went to the dealership and they were saying that is cause of bad o2 sensors and thats the reason the code reader cant pull the codes... does that sound righ>>>???? please any info would be great on how i can get this problem resolved...

go to advance or autozone and let them see what they pull up...from my knowledge, if its the o2 sensor, you get a SES and code citing which bank(s)

If the OBDII will not read codes alot of times its a fuse because somehow its linked with the lighter somehow. Check and see if your lighter works and if it does I don't know, hope that helps.

Light plug works fine.... ive checked the fuzes and they check out good... ima check em again.. but this is just annoying me... a shop was able to pull codes another way and its the same codes ive been getting for a while... can having a bad o2 sensor mess up anything if not fixed for a long time?
