2003 Max???
Has anyone seen pics of the new 2003 Max yet? I read where it will be built in the Mississippi plant, should have 280+hp and should be on showroom floors starting in February '03. I also confirmed this with a dealership in Dallas on a recent business trip. Wondering if anyone had seen any websites showing clips of it. I love my '01 Max but after it's accident and repair, it just ISN'T the same and I'm starting the saving mode to get a '03.

My advice is to delete this thread.
Look at what happened when someone posted the same exact thing last week.

Re: 2003 Max???
Why not the 2K2?? Given that the new Altima is bigger than the 2K1 and 2 Maxima, and the stories that say that the new Max will be based on the new Alti platform, that 2003 is gonna be quite big. Toyota Avalon territory. I don't think it's going to be a Maximum performacne type of sports sedan anymore, just too big. The torch will be passed to the Altima. I saw it coming even in the previous Altime, they made the FSTB standard on that car but never on any Maxima. The 2K2 SE with 6 speed would be the one to get IMHO.

Re: My advice is to delete this thread.
I think this is a little different. Maddmax started off the other thread asserting a rumor, his title was "03Max!"
Whereas Maximan69 was asking a question about the future plans for Maxima. A little less inviting to flaming, I would think.
